Hi David,
So I joined up as a prime member over the weekend and I have to say it is such great resource for all things Chief Architect. I love your teaching style and wealth of knowledge and how you share such a vast amount of material at such a reasonable cost. Other providers don’t come close to the value you have put together. I am super excited to learn more about Chief and all I can do with it. While it is just a hobby for me, I can certainly see me doing this kind of work in my retirement, and your website has set me on a terrific path.
Thanks again!
Rob

Dear ChiefTutor.com
I think I got as much from your video, "Raw Basics no. 1", as I learned in the past several months of trying to learn Chief. There just isn't enough good information out there. THANK YOU!
By the way, I enjoyed your wit. And I noticed you cited Hebrews 3:4. Perhaps, that says something about you... that if we speak in person, maybe you won't use profanity.
Maybe you'd like an example of something I liked in that video. Keep in mind, Chief is very different from what I've used in the past. I can't tell you how long I tried to draw my first wall in Chief. Then I decided to look for help... well, where? The Chief reference manual is of little help. Next I tried the CA videos. Most videos are so long, where within a video does one find specific answers? It is discouraging when it's so hard to get questions answered. And while watching a video, straight from Chief, of all places, I still didn't get it! What she said was as something like, you click this icon to select a wall, then draw a wall like this... um, duh... I cannot see what your hand is doing with the mouse! Now keep in mind, in a program I used before, all I did was click where I wanted to start a wall (then let go of the mouse button) and it would draw in the direction I went. That doesn't work in CA. Click AND hold, AND drag? Takes coordination, but it works... when it's explained!!! Wish there had been an easy way to figure that out. Well, you remembered to explain that. Well done! Good for you! And good for me that I found your help!!!

I really like your training videos. I have watched a lot of CA training videos, and by far yours are the best. You seem to be coming from an end yours standpoint versus a programmers standpoint. Which in my view is preferable for new users of CA.
When I have watched CA training videos I can tell that they are well rehearsed. What I mean by that is they rarely make any mistakes in there videos.
Last night I watched your roof videos. On the complex roof video you were helping someone that was having a hard time getting the roof to work out. In your video you were encountering some problem areas where the roof did not generate the way you wanted it to. You showed the problem, why the problem way happening and how to correct it. Chief's videos would rarely show these problems. I know that they use some of their videos for sales purposes so they want to show everything working perfectly. You on the other hand are showing us how to correct problems that will come up from time to time and
why it is happening. This is very helpful. You are a very good instructor and I look forward to going through all of your videos.

Dave, love your videos, I've learned Chief by mostly just watching your free videos. Chief is a relatively easy program to pick up with my experience of softplan and 2020. Chief by far is the simplest and most powerful and accurate. I also like your Bible verse in Hebrews, my companies verse to go by is Col. 3:23.

Mr. Michael,
Just wanted to let you know I appreciate your web site so much. It has helped me learn so many things about chief architect. Please keep up the AMAZING!!!!!! work. Maybe in the future you could do a video on how you handle exterior details for example brick laid in herringbone or chevron pattern.
Once again keep up the great job.....you are a blessing to the Chief community.
Respectfully,
Tony Jackson

Heey there :)
I'm sitting here having so much fun messing with my chief architect. You know, I went from the *tragic* TurboFloorplan straight to Home Designer...and wow I fell in love with the programme. Then I wanted more...and well I have the final version of Chief Architect. Paid my dollars for it and it's worth all of them. Then I saw this site and paid for all the snacks here. My roof trouble...gone..my elevation of floor and ceiling which I never got a hang of in tfp..oh dearest D...now I'm having real fun with it, cuz you and a few others learned me how to mess with it.
Every new begiiner should have had a set of you when they start, cu you make it so easy. :) :) :)
Earning money on it? Nope, just because I am having fun using it for fun. I've always loved to draw houses and stuff since I was a kid. Yeah a true hobbyist. :)
That's my story. Btw I have a childhoodfriend who is an architect and she loves chief.
Ok that was all for today.
Keep on giving us great videos. Oh please do some on annotations....

Thank you David, it worked.
Let me use this opportunity to thank you, not for this download, but for everything else.
Two years ago I was unemployed Architect with pile of bills, when I started learning Chief Architect (X6).
Today, I am trying to split myself in half to accept new job offers.
Everything I now know, I learned from you.
I wish you a really happy holidays, successful and fruitful New Year, and many great videos to come.
Thanks, Bojan

Thank you. I'm only a couple of basic videos in and already got my moneys worth. I felt like a had one hand tied behind my back trying to learn Chief. Roof lines and wall heights make a lot more sense .

Hi Dave,
I just spotted the list on your website. Thanks! After review I subscribed immediately and now I'm seriously two minutes in to the video you did on building layouts/templates and I totally want to cry. Cry tears of freaking JOY! I can't even fully describe to you how lost I was feeling before finding your website. I was so excited about the potential of the Chief Architect program but then frustrated beyond comprehension when I couldn't get it to do what I wanted it to do, or look the way I wanted it to look, I mean blue dimension lines....c'mon?!?# and NONE of the CA tutorials I've watched would break it down in the simple straight forward no-fuss manner that you do. You are a gift to the CA world! Thank you for making your tutorials. Ok now back to the video....
Cheers!

Dear Dave,
I wanted to take the time to thank you for your patience and sincere interest in helping me to learn Chief Architect. When I made the initial investment in Chief, I was a little concerned because other companies were offering similar software at significantly lower prices. However, after speaking with you about the benefits of Chief and what I could expect in terms of a “learning-curve”, I am 100% convinced that I made the right choice. Your "hands-on" individual attention, in addition to your great “How-to” videos, put me in a position to realize a return on my investment within 6 months and give me the confidence that I can compete with people who have been in this business for many years. I could not have done any of this without you.
It’s reassuring that in this chaotic world there are still people who have integrity and genuinely want to help others succeed. Thank you!
I wish you all the best in everything that you do.
Warmest regards,
-- Chris Ashley

Dave, your a freaking genius. I had called Chief tech help before I saw your video "step #6 - NEW walls, demo walls - existing walls" They sent me on a complex mission that only messed with my mind. Your method is awesome, simple and it works. I look forward to more videos.

Hi!
I've watched all of your free videos, thank you so much. I was feeling totally overwhelmed with the learning curve of CA, and the tutorials on the CA website were just leaving me a little lost. I like your style. I'm interested in unlocking all of your other videos. I understand that it's $100. Which even when I convert that to Canadian funds sounds like tremendous value. You rock! Love your style of teaching. And many thank you's again for the free tutorials, they have already made a huge difference in my understanding of CA. Best regards
